Math Tutor

Ok, so im going in to highschool this schoolyear and i had a c+ in math only because of some stupid points off like missing labels and some problems i just got wrong. so she decided to hire me a math tutor over the summer. im pissed she wont evn give me a chance in highschool to see how i do she just thinks im going to fail. but, i dont know how much harder it gets freshman year, i realize everyone on ns is alot older than me so if you have any advice or anything let me know or just tell me if u think the tutor is a good idea or not. dont hate on me for being young

considering you dont know what math youre taking, i would take the tutor. not to mention, if youre not paying for it out of your pocket, you should deff take advantage of that. shits only gonna get worse in HS, youre gonna want those a's and b's to bounce back on in your junior and senior years.

This. You may not know how well you'll do in highschool math, but it definitely won't hurt. I had to get a math tutor my sophomore and junior years of high school and it helped big time. Expensive as hell though.

stick with the tutor and go into it with a positive attitude. Seriously in grade 9 i did horrible in math with like a finishing mark of 60. i thought it was cause i didnt pay enough attention but it was cause i didnt understand simpler math which is what higher grades build on. basically what im saying is that if youre struggling in grade 8, you're probably going to do worse in grade 9. You need to be consistent in math.

G9 teacher guarenteed us our math mark would go down noticably once we do g10 math. i don't know how you guys have it but we have math remedial and math pure. i took math pure. math mark g9 85%
math mark G10= 69% (lulul)

But that's because i was lazy as fuck.

i had a math tutor for most of high school. really helped a lot actually. If nothing else, at least once a week my homework was correct because she helped me do it.

My sister was a math tutor. Don't think it was that bad for the kid... then again he was Asian.

Also tell your tutor to bring skittles so you can use them for math problems.
