if Boise state beats Virginia tech on their opener and wins out they have a good chance to land themselves in the national championship game for the first time ever!

who here plays football? and what position and town (state too)  and grade

i play for nothfield (town in Minnesota) and play corner back and wide receiver for 9th grade

i like d wayyyyy more than o so hopefully i play a lot at cb

If Virginia Tech beats Boise State and goes onto an undefeated season, they will be national champs. Knowing us though, we'll probably choke halfway through the year.

I'm just hoping my Cal Bears win 9 games this year, and show those fucking stanfurd fucks that we're still the big man on campus. They couldnt beat us with Toby Tank Gerhardt, they wont beat us with Luck either... I dont care how enthusiastic Harbutt is...


That said. I really hope Boise State goes to the national championship game... They really really do deserve it... 2 BCS bowl wins in the last 4 years? I dont care if they only faced TCU last year... that's still better than everyone in the ACC has done in the last Decade. They have proven their worthyness... and if they beat the hokies on labour day... they will surely be on the fast track to that game... Nevada and Oregon State wont stop them... not with 20 of 22 starters returning from an undefeated squad... They're LOADED with depth, youth and charisma and I think they'll still make a BCS bowl no matter what, even if they lose to the hokies, they should win out the rest of the way and still be a top 10 team.

I think Udub has the same issue that Cal has. Senior quarterback who has a lot of skills, but the rest of the team is a questionmark as far as being championship quality. I honestly hope it comes down to Cal and Udub though. That would be fun as hell.

Oregon wont win it though, neither will OSU and USC cant win it at all, so hmm..

Right now, I personally think Arizona is the favourite if nobody can stop their spread offense... They still have the defense to be quality. I think they'll win 10 games.



Nevertheless. I'm going to be laughing at all the critics when stanfurd only goes 7 and 5. Gerhardt was the only reason they were even alright last year... They still got humped against California in the big game (I was there. It was AWESOME)
