Depends on the game. Some games like Barbie Pony Princess III require more skill than that of others.

It takes talent unless it is a game like WoW or any other MMORPG. Those games just take no life and the dedication, I just about lost my gf to 2moons because I was so addicted to trying to level up. plus side is I have a lvl 82 AK.

Also this. Unless i was getting paid a large sum of money it isn't worth being that good at a video game. I'd rather have friends and be marginally talent at them.

it can be classified as skill but trust me, you very rarely see skill. When someone is good at MW2 it is mostly likely practice. Some games require intelligence such as RTS like Starcraft or age of empires.

There's always those kids who are just fucking good at every single video game. You know em. You'll play Halo for like 6 months and then that kid will start up and be a lvl 50 in 2 weeks and pwn your ass.

AOe3 was great, a lot of people didn't like the RPG elements of the game, but it added a necessary level of complexity that hasn't been seen in the RTS genre

whatever, I'm 25 and I play video games, so do a lot of my friends who are also in their 20s.


yes, video games do require talent, as does everything in life. but also like most things in life, it is a talent that you can learn relatively quickly with repetition.

I work at a hospital and the surgeons say it is the most beneficial practice for their dexterity... So even if it isn't a talent, I say it is a valuable skill to have.

In Korea there have been two deaths accounted for due to over-excessive playing of Starcraft. One, a kid sat in a internet cafe and played for long enough he died. And two, a mother left her baby in a car while she was playing Starcraft and the baby died.

some people just cant buy a game and be good in the same time played as others.
I played cod since cod4 and im now quite good, not bragging.
my neighbor plays just as much since cod4 and sucks nuts.
