I thought it was very good music, but had terrible, terrible lyrics. Very Sigur Ros goes slightly spanish.

And the second one, loved the music again - great lyrics, mediocre singing. I downloaded though. I really kind of liked it.

Johnny Flynn is pretty awesome... I loved 'A Larum', but i can't find a download link anywhere for his newest album.

^probably my favorite song of his.

Naw I already got it. Gotta love that megadownload. I love genuine folk style and irish music. It's that dobro/fiddle sound.

The radio station I listen to has been playing Mumford & Sons obsessively for months. The Cave is currently the stations top played song. I'm kinda sad because I liked them at first but hearing Little Lion Man and now The Cave played ad naseum at work has made me a little sick of them.

I got to see them at a cool little flash-mob style concert here in Vancouver because their actual concert sold out in a couple minutes. The location and time was only announced 2hrs ahead of time and hundreds of people showed up.

I'm liking the sounds of Johnny Flynn... will see what I think once I've heard some more of his stuff.

I know this thread is old, but thanks for these two bands. I've been listening to Johnny Flynn nonstop since I started checking this cult. I hope it gets more active.

Old thread but Mumford is so fucking good. 'Sigh No More' is one of the only albums I can listen to all the way though, over and over again without getting old.
