id rather have a HDD with a 15" i5 than a SSD 13" core 2 duo

i might upgrade to a ssd later on tho.

but is the extra $170 for a 180gb bigger hd and .13ghz faster processor

Not worth it at all. With an extra .13ghz on the processor, you will not even really notice it. And for the money you save, you can get a nice, fast external.

Again, once you have 320 GB on board there is no need for any more other than external. And the processor will be hardly noticeable as both setups have a good amount of RAM. Save the money
