I have a canon hf200 and final cut 4.0, and when i try and import using log and transfer, all the files show up, and can be played, but when i go to import them, it prepares for to import but nothing happens and it says error: no data. I think i have all the settings right, i've looked around on the apple forums and they have been no help. So ns, what am i doing wrong?
Hey, I'm using FCE now and my files are avchd. just import them into Imovie then when it asks what media you would like to upload either upload all or just manually check the ones you want. they import (farely slow for me) then put them in a folder under documents or whatever and open FCE go import then you should have no trouble? This may have been a waste of my time and yours if this doesnt help at all, but anyway...
I've never had a problem with my Panasonic AVCHD camcorder, and I've always used Log and Transfer. Are you doing it by putting the card in a reader or wiring the camera? If you're using a reader, try wiring the camera to the computer instead.
