I have line masterminds mounted at the midsole which seems to be slightly behind the true center of the ski. I want to get them re mounted at dead center. What are the positive and negative effects of this?

well the only real performance issue you'll find is the decrease in turning ability out of the park, then again you will find this on every non symmetrical ski mounted center. If they are currently say 1 or 2 cm back from true, you will just be making them worse, if they are more then that, you might want to consider bumping them closer, but not true center

Thanks and would bumping the bindings forward also make spinning more balanced?

I would keep them where they are if you value your skis all mtn performance.

Keep them at center, perfect for park, and is still all mt. ready.

Yes, all my friends who ski have their skis mounted dead center, even though none of them have symmetrical skis, and they are satisfied with it. (all we ski is park).
All times are Eastern (-5)
