I work for a local cemetery mowing lawns and taking care of the grass and what not. Its just a summer job with good hours and good pay to get me through college.
Anyways, I was walking through the cemetery when I came across A stone leaning up against the side of a tree. Curious, I went over and kicked the stone over. under the stone was a black film canister. I was shocked. I called my friend over to take a look with me. At first we both thought it was drugs. But when we opened it, we had found something a lot more interesting.
Apparently there is this global...how should i say it.. group? activity? Where people put a hidden treasure somewhere and put the global coordinates on the website where other people can go and find it. When you find it, you sign your name on the list of people who found it, and either leave the contents of the "treasure" or take it and leave something of equal or greater value. Inside this camera tube were some dinosaur stickers and a picture of a couple. PRetty cool if you ask me.
Here is a video of their website: http://www.geocaching.com/
and here is another link of what the note was inside the cache i found today.

Pretty fuckin cool if you ask me. Apparently there or MILLIONS of these all around the world. Type your area code or street name in and see if there are some by you. I'm definitely starting one of these at college.
Happy hunting!
