Ok, i'll try.

I would say the Atomic Punx are lighter. I cant tell you the exact weight for every length but i read somewhere that one ski weighs about 1400 grams or something like that. This was in size 169 i think.

The exact weight for the No Times is on the Surface Website.

This is pretty lightweight aswell. But remember its not only the weight that matters - Its the swingweight, which is important! The Punx will have a lower swing weight because they are symetrical, the No Times are not symetrical so they will not swing around and spin that good.

I have never ridden Atomic Punx nor the No Times so i would suggest you to make a new thread in Gear Talk so you can get more opinions from people, who actually rode one of the skis or you go with the pair, which will fit you better and you like better (graphics, based on reviews etc.). These skis seem to be pretty similar (poppy, light, butterable etc.)

I am giving you an answer because nobody answered your question yet, although its already a week old. So i hope someone, who rides Punx or No Times will help you aswell.

so rather than make a new thread, ill bump this old one.


so i am getting a pair of the scott jib twalls, and was looking for some size recommendations.

im 6'0 170-ish lbs, ill be skiing them in the park probably 80 to 90% of the time. ive been riding 181 thalls from 08/09. should i go 178 or 184? +3cm or -3cm basically haha

178cm if you do more rail, 183 if you do more jump, but for park ski I like mine in the high 70's ( I'm 5'11 and 165lbs and I ride 179 park ski)

Such an unworthy of a thread question right here, but i've always wondered...
Basically I've been using some pretty trashed 176 Armada AR6's (06/07) for about 2 years now, on dry slopes, rails, boxes, kickers you name it.
I love em and don't really feel like I need to replace them but I've never used a brand new/recent pair of park ski's in my life.
Will it make a massive difference to my riding to have a fresh, new ski that actually has edges/flex/etc.?

My turn.
I'm rocking 08 chronics right now. 6 ft, ~180lbs. After riding my friends salomons, i'm looking for something a bit softer and lighter than my chronics. i ride max 30% park, rest just groomer ripping, i live in ontario so we don't have mountains, and i don't really want anything wider than a 90.
price is key for me, i'm a student. was looking at Liberty LTE's, but they're hella spensive. Masterminds and El Reys are what I'm looking at right now, was also looking at Rossi Storms, even though they're a bit wider. any other recommendations?

Alright here is the dealio. I am coming back after my 2nd ACL, doc days I can ski starting late January but just groomers this year. Problem is none of my skis have edges, so I think the wise choice would be to buy some new skis so I can carve!

Here are my choices. Don;t laugh.
-185 EP Pro
-178 Opus
-179 Hellbent (122 waist)
-179 Pettitor

I really like skiing on fat skis, I even had fun crushing groomers on my one lifes but I have them mounted with px15's, so that's just asking for ACL #3.

So the EP and Hellbent are similar, and the Opus and Pettitor are similar. I know the latter two will carve better because of the camber, but any experiences on the fat softies? I'm thinking the Opus is my ideal ski out of the 4, but something about full rocker and soft is calling my name.

Give it to me NS, help make my irrational choice.

I've never skied either but here's why I'd get the jmos:
Higher quality construction
Supports a small company
They supposedly dominate everywhere, the al dentes are more park oriented
The collab with jiberish has a sick topsheet
You won't look like you ride henriks dick

But I'm sure they're both great skis

I'm trying to decide on a pair of skis for the upcoming season. I ski the northeast. I have no set mountain and I usually ski in the NH/VT area, can never get up to Maine where the real snow is. I usually ski 30% park, 40% trees/backcountry, (not alot of it in the area where I am), and 30% groomers/on piste. I would consider myself to be a higher end intermediate skier. I want an all mountain ski that can perform decent in the park, but can still charge down the mountain on the groomers and crud. Don't want it to be too stiff though. The skis that i have been looking at are:

-Moment PB&J (worried about it in the park)
-On3p Jmo (a little too pricy for me)
-Vokl bridge
-Nordica Soul Rider

As of now i am leaning towards last years soul rider.
Thank you for your help, I am open to any suggestions.

^ You shouldn't be worried about the PBJ in the park. I would probably take the Bridge of the Soul Rider over the other two for you though.

Specs -I am 15 years old, 5'8 140lbs HAVENT HIT GROWTH SPURT YET -I ski about 60% rails 25% groomers/downhill and 15% jumps -I am looking for something that is buttery, light, and less then $350 without bindings -I ski in the East so powder isn't really a concern -Want to get something in high 160 range for length My main question is what kind of skis should I get. I have been looking at the halos but I'm not really sure how they preform outside of the park. Will be mounted with Marker Griffons Will take any suggestions. Thanks

So I have 2015 Mary Janes and I'm gettting #7 Flex Tongues this year. Online it says S: 22.5-25.5, M: 26- 27.5 On my shell it says 26.5(which obviously means Medium) however on the flex tongues I have now it says MP25.5-26.5. Sooo I'm confused since 25.5 is a small and 26.5 is a medium. Do I get mediums? Or like what?

This is a great part about Full Tilts is the tune ability of the boot with the changing of a tongue which just takes a few minutes. Offerings on here are the 2 stiffer tongues. Sometimes its nice to go with the larger size tongue for more aggressive people. I use the 10 for stiffness and the larger tongues on a 25 boot. Black goes with everything.

I a little confused? Do you mean that you are using a tongue that is sized for a larger shelled boot to acheive a stiffer overall flex? ie. a tongue for 26 shell clipped into your 25 shell boot? Can this be done without adversely affect

I am not sure if SkiDude is talking sh*t, but it says he is sponsored (yeah what ever this means) so I would guess that he knows what he is saying.

Means: I would go for size M. If Mondo 26.5 is written on your boot shell i would take this for orientation. So M is the right size. I dont think that a smaller tongue can fit.

I am not 100% sure, because I havent owned FT boots yet. You can look also for a shop which has FT tongues. There you should be able to try out both sizes and then you will see which one fits better.
