not necessary. read further, his shop fit them and recommended the 2011 boot based on all of the information you are requesting. he is just simply wondering if the 2010 model is the same boot as the 2011 so he can save money

haha ya i probably should have left out the first part. i am 14, about 6 feet and i weigh like 155 pounds and i ski mostly park and a little all mountain/ massachusetts "pow". and i am a size 11 shoe too

Pivot/FKS 14 DIN uses the same toe screw pattern as the PX toe (same toe essentially) but if you're going to the 18 DIN (unlikely if you're on a 12 DIN now) they may be different, the 18's use the 1-piece toe.

5' 6" 150 lbs. Can't decide between 175 or 185 JJ. Early advanced skier, not the best at pow or trees. Armada rep told me 175 but still skeptical. Being used as a pow ski mainly, not really looking for the all mountian aspects of the JJ.

definetly the 175 if youre that small haha no hate or anything. but a 185 is gonna be about 6 inches taller than you so thats way too big

Need to get some new gloves or mittens. Going to be used mostly in warm weather, but a week or two in cold. Need to hold up on dry slope surfaces.
Also very very low on funds at the moment and I always lose my gloves.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some cheap but won't fall apart after the first use gloves?

Get a pair of insulated leather work gloves. They are tough as nails and are warm. Maybe non-insulated ones if you don't use them in the cold though.

I have line chronics with an 85w and im planning on mounting them with marker jesters would it be bad to get 110 brake size? Im planning on getting a pair of powder skis and i might want to mount them on those instead.

Yes, it will be bad. If you land switch with your ski on a bit of an angle it will dig the brake in backwards and either rip it off or detonate the whole pedal assembly under your foot.

Marker brakes are relatively cheap and easy peasy to swap, just get 2 brakes...

hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge on the the difference between the SPK kid pro, and the regular SPK. I have gone to a bootfitter and they do say they fit my foot, but they only have the SPK kid pro in stock and its a sick deal for them 150$ for 27.5s, but do you think it would be worth it to pay the extra 100$ dollars and have them order the regular SPKs? or should I just stick with the ones they have in stock.

their a bit narrow for utah pow... coreupt makes some other dope skis for a good price, like the born to drop.

The kids are softer and are most likely narrower. If you have tried them on, they fit, and are the right flex for you get them.
