ok forget this, I found liberty phil larose's for a better deal. The new question is 178 or 171? I'm 5'9". I will be skiing the whole mountain but as a beginner in the park I am afraid that 178 will be too much ski for me to be throwing around on rails and small jumps.

If you're 15, you're probably not done growing yet, i.e. you will get taller. So you can go one of two routes, you can get a ski that fits you now, or you could get one that you will grow into. I won't tell you which to do, but either way I think either option would work. You can get used to the 178 (or whatever size it was, I can't remember of the top of my head), and the 171 could also work. Ultimately it's up to you.

I have some moment night trains (which are 123 mm in the waist) and was wondering if 115 mm brakes on sth 14s would be okay for the skis? The guy at the shop seemed really freaked out about bending them.

Don't wear them under your helemt. Wear them around your neck with the ear pads out.
