Replying to i dont get it
so here i was taking a 7th class in my senior year of highschool, i only need 6 grade 12 credits to graduate and iv already been accepted to university. I was having troubles in this class so i went to the guidance councilers and said 'do i really need to take this class? can i just drop it?' they said i could but there wasnt any point unless i was failing it because the universities wouldnt add it to my average. came home and shared the infomation with my parents.. they said that that was ok. so then i got my reportcard and i had a 51 in the class. thats pretty much failing. so i went and made the arqangements to drop the class, came home told my parents and then suddenly i was grounded. how does that make sence? they aggreed with my plan, they knew that due to uncontroable circumstances i was in the class and that i never chose the class and that if i drop it now it doesnt get on my transcript. are all parents this anal? or do i deserve to be grounded?
