I got to Haiti yesterday and I'm trying to post something new everyday. I am shooting with a 7d, t2i, and a super 8 cam. Check out the links below if interested.
I am really looking forward to seeing how your trip goes. I have been wanting to go there and can't wait to see your perspective of their situation and see what changes it brings to you as a person. Good luck and hope it all goes well.
what part of the country are you gonna be in, and for how long? I've been down a couple times since the earthquake, and some friends are going down again starting this week. do you have a mission or are you free-balling it, so to speak?
I'm with a foundation down here. We are staying in port au prince, a few miles north of the airport , and driving to Leogane every day. Where are your friends volunteering at?
I have friends who are working on a bamboo project that we just started near Jacmel, but they're gonna be returning to P-a-P soon to shoot a promo video for the International Medical Corps If you're interested in helping with the IMC video, I'm sure they could use your help. They're just down there with a GH1 and could really use your fantastic video skills. If you're interested, definitely let me know and I can put you in touch right away. You can email me at william.miller@mail.mcgill.ca. I also have two other friends who are flying down tonight to work on a
music education project with a Haitian band. i think they're staying at
a place called Grassroots United in P-a-P for the first bit.
