Replying to Pentax K-x

Hey everyone,

So usually I stick to SG and related areas, but recently I've wanted to get more into photography and the like, and have been looking at entry level cameras. My budget isn't that high, and I sorta stumbled across this camera (Pentax K-x). I've read a ton of reviews, but I won't lie, I'm really green to photography, and wanted to ask you guys what you thought of the camera? I'll definitely be taking any camera I get up to the mountain, and thus would like it be somewhat durable, reliable, and befitting of a college student.
