Major help please

so i have vegas movie studio 8 platnium edition and i was working on an edit and saved it well the next day i open it up at this thing pops up saying that it could not find this missing file and all media is offline which means it is un view able. well today i was working on another edit and went to save as and saved it and later that day opened it up again to work on it and the same thing happened and all the media is offline because there is a missing file. I have searched for this missing file every where but no such luck but the thing is it is one video clip from each edit that my computer says is missing but it puts the whole edit offline. I really need help fixing this and getting all my footie back. major karma to the person that can help me.

if this helps to solve the mystery i uploaded the footie from my go pro right onto the program

you have to upload the footage to your computer first and edit from there. You most likely were editing the footage straight from your camera and unplugged it when you finished editing.

It should still be on your gopro unless you deleted it. If its not on your gopro and you didn't save the footage to your computer before editing, you're fucked.
