Why does Jiberish have sponsors?

So I was just watching Do Werk and something came to my mind... I always thought the purpose of companies sponsoring skiers is to get their name out there so more people buy their product. But if Jiberish sells out so quickly in the skiing community, why do they need sponsors? Sorry if this is a dumb question

sponsors help pay for the movie(camera gear, travel cost, lift tickets, ect)

for one, Jiberish sells out consistently due to them sponsoring the right people in the past and present which has made them very popular and given them a good brand image
they also are a cool company that wants to give back to the community that essentially is their entire target market

Because they realize that 75% of the kids who would but their stuff, only do so because they saw they're favourite skier wearing it. and thought it looked dope. why else would anyone ever buy a pier 48 crew.

there skiers probably reflect the company-hornbeck, delorme, wallisch... all the best with different unique styles
