Volkl bridges in the park?

I ski mostly in the park and was wondering if the bridge was a good ski in the park if you just want a little bit of a fatter waist. I've tried the search bar but most of the threads dont say much about use in the park.

They are park skis. They will be good in the park.

PS: Buy Wall's, they're better.

bridges have a pretty wide shovel in the front compared to the rest of the ski...i think they were made more with traditional mounting in mind. i'm sure they'd be okay, but they just might ski a little funny switch if they were centermounted.
however, i have the walls and i'm very happy with them.
if you're looking for a fat park/all mountain ski like that, check out the liberty hazmats too. they seem more park oriented to me.

volkl bridges are a pretty stiff all-mountain/park twin. based off the sidecut alone, i would say about a 60% mountain to 40% park

if you want the stiffness of a volkl ski, go with the wall's. super stable all over the mountain, kill it in the park, and they can take a beating.

if youre just looking for a fatter park ski, go with something like the k2 kung fujas from 2009/2010 or the rossignol s3 based on my experiences with k2 and rossigol, both will be good skis

theyre definitely an all mountain ski.

i love mine but ive never skied them in the park.

i have them and love them, they are a great all mountain ski but i found that they didn't perform perfectly in the park, i mean they work well as jump skis because they are stiff and solid, but landing switch is a little...different.
therefore i bought a pair of cheap ass afterbangs as a park ski(dont get them if you are willing to pay a bit more) that way, i have a pair of park skis that i can give a beating to, as well as a FANTASTIC all mountian ski that can hold up anywhere, including the park

just as an FYI, next years bridge is rockered (unless they changed the ski since i skied it). that might effect your decision.

now this is all opinion because i know a lot of people love them.


but i hated that ski.

i felt like it was oddly stiff (im all for stiff skis, but this one just had an odd flex) and felt quite honestly dead.

i was skiing the bridge's last year, and i skied the park a lot. i didnt center mount them cause i need them for pow as well. and they did fine. although the edges  did rip out in a couple places. they arent a park specific ski so they werent made to trash them rails and hold up.

If I'm not mistaken the edges have that T shape instead of just being straight. So the edges will probably rip out easier.
