False, with perkins hurt and big baby playing like a 10 year old girl at times and no more sheed the celtics desperately needed another big man...no one is expecting shaq to put up minutes/points/blocks like when he played in LA..he is simply there to help the c's inside presence become stronger

This move plus jermaine keeps the c's right in contention for the championship next year provided they can avoid injury

For one, the Celtics are old. The Yankees are (relatively) young.

Secondly, the Yankees buy all the best players during free agency. The Celtics signed Shaq and Jermaine O'Neal, not to mention Michael Finley. If anything, the Celtics are kinda like when a dog crawls to the woods to die.

it takes shaq 15 seconds to get up the paint, rondo is one of the quickest players in the league and the so called big 3 are not running that team anymore, it is rondo's team he is on the rise while the rest are fizzling, shaq will add rebounds but he is going to slow that team down to much

washup? he averaged 12 points a game last season, not spectacular, but he still does work. and that was with the cavs. the celtics play as a team. i wouldnt be surprised to see that number jump up a couple points.
