I'm so done with all this rivalry shit. I'll try and engage snowboarders in the park, and if they want to be douches, which rarely happens, then it's no sweat off my back. I do think the mainstream snowboard media tries to hype the rivalry however.

Yes, I respect snowboarding a lot. I know a lot of snowboarders and they're awesome guys. I don't see why ESPN needs to state this kind of stuff. We're not in kindergarden anymore. I hate that rivalry.

Just ignore it. I think it is hilarious that this guy could put a comment like that in there. It is kinda true though, our pipe jockeys are a little more gangst than the snowboarders. Plus it is kind of a compliment that he said we ride backwards. maybe?

not gonna lie, my tall tee does get all frozen up a lot. Can't say he isn't on point about that. The only part that makes me mad is that he's saying that baggy pants are snowboarding's signature pants style. "and snowboard pants" no. Pants are pants.

Alright, I'll concede that those we're intended for snowboarders. I took what that guy said to mean that because some skiers wear large pants that those are snowboarding pants. if that made sense. I didn't look at it from a brand perspective.

as for the rivalry, I'm really fed up with the big mouth idiots on internet. Most snowboarders are actually weekend warriors you can't snowboard so they just smoke pot all day. I actually have an incredible amount of respect for the ones i know that are actually good. i do hate waiting for them though...

but when it comes down to it, snowboarders can go throw themselves off a cliff.

Personal preference, one ski or two.
Snowboarders  may have been the first in the park but skiers were the first on the mountain and the first to create freestyle(if it was ever "created") and to the pioneers the whole mountain was the park.
But they're basically the same.
