hello, my ipod touch is a piece of crap so i need your guys help. i know there are tons of threads on iPod touch help and such, but each person's problem is different when it comes to electronics. alright, so i tried to restore my ipod, from the ipod itself, because i forgot the password that i recently set it to(silly me). so it did it's whole restoring thing, and when it was turning back on after restoring, it got bricked on the apple logo, with the little spinning circle below it. and its been frozen like that. so i plugged it into the computer, and itunes won't recognize it, like nothing shows up.ive tried softbooting it, and everything apple told me... i think its really broken this time :'''''''( any ideas newschoolers?

Take it into the apple store. If they can't fix it they normally give you a refurbished one.

hold the home button and the top button for like 10 seconds or so while it's connected to your computer. Look around on google for stuff like tha try ipod touch frozen with apple logo or soemthing like thatt. Mine broke recently, but mine was totally fired and wouldn't turn on no matter what. I took it to the apple store, they hooked it up to some type of diagnostic computer and the guy he he doesn't know whats up. They replaced mine, but wile searching for solutions that's what I found.

google search? that'd be your best bet. if not send it in to apple. just check the site out and you can get a box sent right to your door and they should be able to fix it, if not they'll replace it.

DNU mode i believe. Hold down the top button and bottom button until it powers off, then release the top button and keep holding the lower button until it shows the usb cable and itunes. From there you should be able to recover it.
