Mainstream "cleaner" than underground?

So recently, my parents have gotten a little pissy about the music I listen to, yes...im 16. I mainly listen to Wiz Khalifa, Currensy, Biggie, Nas, Waynes old shit, Pacewon, Big Boi, Eminem etc...Now I have a sister who's 13 and her and my mom listen to the mainstream music (Flo Rida, B.O.B., Katy Perry, Ke$ha etc...) So today were listening to some gay ass song and they say "come lay with me, i want my fantasies to come true" and that was the chorus. So i said, "mom how can my little sister listen to this but I can't listen to my music? Their saying the same thing just in different words."...yeah, give or take fuck, shit, bitch and hoes...but you get the idea...does anyone else agree with me?

mainstream hints at it but rap comes out and says it.... neither is right or wrong tell your parents to listen to what they want to and let you do the same, unless its emo shit then they have all the power, but your interest in music seems legit not incredibly violent like Immortal Technique or insanely vulgar like Necro.
Make a list of songs by the artists you listen to make sure they are relatively clean songs and then get your parents to listen to them, after that they might fuck off your case for a bit , about tunes at least. thats what i would do

anyway, your 16, if its anything like my situation at that age was my parents new that i was soon out of their controll so they tried to grab extra hard. either that or they think your music sucks, which i kind of agree, but thats besides the point.
