kind of annoying...until 1:41 when the bass line drops and gets a bit more organized. maybe use that more, and some more distorted bass and kick drum. i dig it tho.

yeah from like 1:41 to like 2:04 or something. use that more, way more solid beat

ya I can relate. Although I was going for a more sporadic sound like Felguk or Afrojack.

personally, i would have mixed the bass line with a little less volume, it kinda overpowered the drums,

and with the side chaining compression, i would have made the ratio smaller so the bass line really pulses and ducks the kick drum. if you did drop the ration a little more, the volume wouldnt have been a problem.

maybe next time, try having a two synths, one for the bass and another one with a more diverse sound that could harmonize and do lead stuff over the bass.

Alright word. Ill go back to the drawing board. Try to bang out a similar and better tune.
