Favorite 09/10 Carinthia Feature

I'm bored as fuck at work so I want to know, what was your favorite feature at Carinthia this past season?

I work for the events team at Mount Snow so I was all over the place at the Dew Tour this past season talking to people. I also made some chairlift survey videos for the website but never asked anything about Carinthia. Let us all know what you loved best, and why?

yeah that was a fun rail, i think mostly because it was (oddly) one of the bigger rails on the mountain. i thought it was weird that inferno had big ass jumps (certainly big enough to satiate me) but the biggest rails there werent that big. id love to see some bigger gnarlier rails in the park in the future


my favorite feature was the hip in gulch though. it wasnt huge but it was nice and you could take it right to the end. hips are awesome. that little step up was fun too (was that last year? whatever)

at the end of the season when you had the handrail right under the lift at the top, it was setup so perfect. big hop on but ohh sooo mellow.

they're all pretty boring.

sure, there are 100+ features, but like 80 of them are shorter than ten feet.

there was never any variation in the park, especially nitro. mini shred is always fun, but it'd be nice to have a little variety.

none of the rails were really that sick this year. a couple flat bars are nice, kink rails are all retarded with rediculous kinks and too short. jump line in gulch was nice when it was prime, jumps in inferno were money too

dope to see some people take the feedback seriously. people hate on the rainbow, including myself, but once i'm there its always one of my favorite features. they way they set it up you can hit it so many different ways, as long as the landing is relatively decent.

best feature to ever grace the carinthia grounds though is "the volcano". super poppy, pretty short jump that was exactly where the rainbow is now back before the hay day of WICKED. i'd like to see that come back

my favorite was the dfd right before the mini pipe. the wierd metal dish thing that was in the gulch last year needs to be killed. even snowboarders didnt know what to do with it

they need to get a new s rail, it can be such a sickk feature but theirs was way to short and tight.

I agree that the rails were too short and the variety was kind of shitty but it's only been two years strong and this year should be huge. They definitely are killing that satellite dish or at least modifying it to have some functionality because the way it was set up on the side of the Gulch was a little odd. Thanks for actually taking this seriously and the criticism is always welcome. Leave the hate at home.
