yeah i think 1337 has that lens and its realll wide from what i know about it. it just depends of how wide you want your lens. i have a ultra wide zoom lens for my t2i that i just got and i love.

personally i would try to stay away from third party lenses, canon just makes such fine glass that it's just worth the money. i also see that your budget is about $600 so there are two canon lenses to think about: ef 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM, and ef 15mm f2.8 fisheye.
the 10-22 is an ef-s lens which will obviously not work if you someday decide to go full frame, however what most people do not realize is that the 10-22 has both 3 aspherical elements and one super-UD element (aspherical elements, super-UD elements, and flourite elements are essentially what makes an L-series lens an L-series lens). so needless to say it is worth the money at about $750.
the 15mm is a great lens also, it is a prime (so you wont have barrel creep doing follow cams at mach 2) and even on an aps-c 15mm very wide, not to mention it is f2.8 and will be good in low light. all of this for just north of $600...? also the 15mm is a lens i have used before and just the feel of it is cool it's basically just a big chunk of glass.

Tokina 11 -16 f2.8 is an awesome lens. This thing is REALLY wide, its fast, and its sharp. If you are just looking for a lens that is wide, I'd definitely suggest it for sure.
