Why didnt sheckler play sk8?

Anyone know why sheckler didn't compete in Sk8? He apparently was supposed to play sk8 against a few dudes for a gold medal at Xgames.

My theory is that he got a gold medal on some BS run earlier and he was too much of a pansy to compete and possibly lose to those people or have people see that he sucks and is afraid to get beat. But thats just my take...

Haha you are so correct.

I really respect him, not for his stupid show, or his personality, but he fucking destroys on his skateboard. Watch any video of his (old or recent) and you will be amazed. He throws himself down huge gaps, and throws kickflips or other crazy fliptricks down them. Hes one of the only young skateboarders who shreds.

Nyjah huston. Yeah hes real good too. But sheckler still has him on a lot of tricks. Im not saying there arent good young skaters out there, im saying sheckler is a really good skater for his age.
