A lot of people feel like HDR ruins photos.

I think what 1337 is trying to say is,

HDR photography can be nice when used right. Newbs tend to use hdr on every single photo and hdr is an effect that should be used sparingly.
people tend to think that an hdr solves all the problems with said photo...


Bottom Line: Don't use HDR unless it really works, and still, don't use it often.

HDR looks so bad when it's too much...but can be very nice if it's done subtlety. Even better than HDR is exposure fusion; same effect, doesn't look like shit.
