hey im looking in to buying a longboard and the only things i know are what my friends tell me. sooo im looking at the loaded tan tien and the loaded dervish, the only bad thing about those is they are expensive. so if anyone knows anything about the landyachtz dropcarve feed back would be appreciated! help please!!
my buddy has a bamboo drop carve, its pretty sick. It has more concave and it's significantly wider than the dervish, but it is a bit stiffer and less responsive. it is awesome for doing nice, controlled, buttery GS turns and it is quite stable. but if you're more into whippy carving with a shit load of rebound then I'd go with the dervish
Buy a 42in Kracked Skulls Scimitar if you want a price point dervish. Rides very similar, flex feels the same, craving feels the same. And the Scimitar is still a great board. Go to Silverfish and look at their scimitar vs. dervish threads and you'll find they all will say the same things.
yeah, scimitars are sick too and yes they ride similar to a dervish. be careful though, they are not very strong boards, my friend cracked two of his doing not-so-gnarly things and he only weighs about 150 lbs
