Replying to JTFC my dad is an asshole

short story time.

upon graduating HS i entered community college, probably the right thing, i didnt know exactly what i wanted to do, and CC was a good option for me. at the time my mom would have liked to pay for all of my college (what her family did) my dad said "youre on your own for everything" (what his family did) so they met in the middle and they have been paying half my tuition and ive been paying the rest, (books etc).....or so i thought.

fastforward to today, i am one semester away from being doneski with CC (im psyched) ive been accepted into Westminster out in Utah, they made me an offer i cannot refuse, they are gonna cut my tuition nearly in half) still leaving me with a rather large amount of money to pay.

so today i find out my dad has been taking money out of my college fund that was set up when i was a wee little lad to pay for "his half" of my community college.

so basically ive got nothing.

if my 8 year old sister hadent been standing there i probably would have called him an asshole to his face.
