Chronic vs Chronic Cryptonite

Is the only difference between the two the waist thickness?
If so, which would be better for Vermont. Would one be easier to spin on?

Would I be sacrificing anything if I got the Chronics instead of the Cryptos?

Im wondering the same thing .. i want a thicker ski for those pow days even know they are few and far between in vermont.. but i go out west once a year to and it was ruff with a 78 waist last year..i know im settled in the chronic but the fact is that if u mount near true center it will ride shorter ... so where do u plane on mounting this ski??.. I was told -2 from true center that way i get the best of both ..what u thinking

Cryptonites are the exact same ski as the chronic, but slightly wider.

The difference is pretty negligible. You won't notice any difference in swing weight.

Mount them at -3 in my opinion.
