Used car buying questions?

I'm buying my first car and I'm coming up with a list of questions for the seller:
Any accidents?
Mechanical problems?
How many miles on the tires?
Last engine maintenance?
Any major dents/scratches?
Are you a smoker?

Thats all i've come up with but theres gotta be some more questions!

ask how often the oil was switched out
what kind of driving was done with it (offroad, cross-country, only local, etc.)?

always ask if they have had the transmission fluid power flushed if so i wouldnt go for it unless you check it out, if they power flushed it, it strips off the lining and your engine wont like that but if he just chenged the fluid than thats ok. also you can ask if you can test drive it to a mechanic shop and have them look at it. and last always check down the side of the car and the back and front check if there are any bends or warps in the frame from an accident. hope that helped.
