That song made me want to kill myself. but ever since watching an edit similar to this a few years ago, I always triple check every intersection and blind spot when I'm riding my bicycle or motorcycle or walking around town, so many bad/distracted drivers, especially in the US.

welcome to real life. Something as simple as rear-ending someone in an intersection, may just end up killing a mom in front of her son.

Wow, that was something.

I rode home with a drunk kid once because he was feeling ''ok'' and we've had previous talks about how he thinks that its ''not as bad as people say,'' and there weren't any other cars on the road, but I was scared shitless. Now I understand why everyone says not to do it.

Seriously, you're better off walking home. Then call a sober friend to come and pick you up wherever you are at a reasonable hour if you're not home already.

what's even worse is most high schoolers need some sort of reality crash/death to finally get the picture that driving smashed is retarded...and even then, some still continue too.

Get a cab, DD, walk, call for someone...granted everyone makes dumb decisions, but shit like this does and can happen, even to YOU

i just got an email an hour ago saying that two women that are on our group cycling rides got hit by a car when it was aggressively trying to overtake them on a left hand turn, from the husband.
one of them has a broken hand and arm, the other with a broken collar bone and skull and will need surgery
stuff like that pisses me off

It's usually the other idiots on the road you need to look out for, not yourself. I always get stuck behind people who need to do 35 in a 50 and hit their brakes for no reason, or people who will change lanes into you if you stay where you're at. Also, you know how trucks roll backwards for whatever reason at a light. I though I was far enough behind one, but he kept rolling back so I hit the horn rapid fire style and he stopped. The trailer was about to crush my hood/bumper. Probably couldn't see me , but he must know he shouldn't roll back that far in heavy traffic.

that video was a pretty shitty over dramatic movie. People who don't think about the risks before doing things are stupid. People should drive safer but the idea that every car crash is going to take out 3 children a mom, a girl, her boyfriends, and 10 homeless people is retarded.

Drive safe, fuck stupid videos though.

Obviously this isn't supposed to make people think that accidents that serious happen every time you leave your house. I think we can agree, though, that however many mothers, fathers, children, boyfriends, and girlfriends have been killed due to reckless driving and dangerously incompetent people, is quite enough. This video might make some people realize the potential consequences of driving like a moron. I'm going to show it to my sister, for sure. Her driving scares me.

im gunna admit to driving pretty reckless for the first couple months of having my licesne and after watching this im thinking i need to stop, i mean it seems cool to zip around in your little sedan but in the end it gets your no where, so im gunna take it easy for now on

For the record i wasn't trying to be a dick. I've seen plenty of these and plenty of real accidents. Been in plenty of accidents with people.

What really pissed me off about these things... I had to take defensive driving on my 20th birthday. Watch videos for a couple hours of buddies and dead people and stuff. Quite the buzzkill on your birthday. But people really should think about what they're doing. People that don't know how to drive speeding around trying to drift, it doesn't take much to go off the road, and I've had some friends end up in some pretty gnarly wrecks.

Actually was first on the scene last summer to my friends wreck. We were all at a show together in saratoga. I was supposed to be riding with them but i missed the ride by 5 min and drove me and some other friends out. Saw a light in the parking area on the way home decided to swing around and see what it was. I saw a car on it's side/upside down in the ditch real fucked up. We told the girls to stay in the car. All the sudden my friend comes out of the ditch all bloody. Thank god nobody died. But shit can go from awesome to terrible in a second.

I know long story blah blah blah. I just wanted to say that I don't care for these videos but it's good if it makes people realize the risk they take and put on their friends when they drive crazy, or drunk, or tired.

Alexa is a family friends granddaughter. She was 4 when a 57 y.o drunk driver hit her while she was standing 30 ft. off the road feeding a horse with her aunt. 2 days ago they finally convicted Berner. She'll be sentenced in November. Anything between 14 years - life

Not to be depressing. Just don't drive drunk it's not worth your life in prison.

this is why drivers tests need to be much much harder to pass. any complete dumbass can pass. and 90% of people have absolutely no idea how to use the road's. highway's, roundabouts, etc... and dont know how to handle a car in an extreme situation.
this and you should loose your license for life with your first DUI. Nobody would do it then. and i have no respect for the piece of shit ass holes that do it.

i know about 10 people who have been in wrecks. and each of them were either as a result of not paying attention or drunk driving. only 12% of all wrecks involve a speeding car, and even less are the result of a speeding car. its the people hogging the left lane going 5 under on the highway not paying any attention that are the real dangers. not the people going 15 over but actually focusing on their driving rather than everything but.
