No idea why it is but i know exactly what your talking about. It goes Glass bottles, Cans, honestly fountain sodas if they are mixed well, then plastic bottles. I actually pretty much dont like soda out of a plastic bottle and avoid it if i can. Unless its code red. in which case quantity trumps slight decrease in quality.

The surface of the glass is smoother. Fewer gas bubbles form, and so less gas is released from your Coke or Beer, so you get a richer taste

It's because when they are in transportation, the bottles heat up. With plastic, little particles are released into the drink, giving it the bad taste. With glass, there are no particles that can be released, so you taste only the drink without foreign substances in it

Because generally beers that come in cans are cheap beers that are meant for getting wasted off, while beers that come in glass are nicer brews and cost more, so more money can be spent on packaging and it will preserve the flavor

A lot of the time glass bottled coke is Mexican Coca Cola which uses real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup like American coca cola. Next time look at the glass bottle, it will often read "hecho en mexico" in small print. Costco sells Mexican coke in the bottles... so good

and yeah, glass bottles are by far the best! followed by cans and fountains....

same goes for beer; beer in a glass bottle tastes so good! most times even better then from a tap! and always better than cans! + i enjoy drinking

False. There is so many types of beer that are made both in bottles and cans regardless of the quality of the beer. For example "Brewhouse", not high quality beer whatsoever but comes in cans and bottles, as well as almost every middle of the road beer (Budweiser, Coors, Kokanee, etc etc)

Also if you buy bottles vs cans of the same beer. It is actually cheaper to buy bottles due to the less amount of beer you get...

but anyways, as people were saying plastic sucks
