So the other day, me and my friend were chillin' at his house. Played some Red Dead Redemption, Skated a bit, Edited some footy, etc. In the middle of editing some clips of skating and such, a huge boom rocked the house. When I say huge, I mean HUGE. MASSIVE. GIGANTIC. We both looked at each other with confused looks. His mom even yelled down to us, "What just happened?" Well neither of us knew. A couple minutes go by and we kinda forget about it. (I don't know how, It rocked the house) Then we hear sirens. Ambulance, Fire trucks, Police cars. The whole deal. We both race upstairs remembering the boom and got our boards and went outside to check it out. The entire neighborhood must've heard it to since they were all outside to. We go down the neighborhood where everyone is heading and see a man laying on someone's lawn facedown. All the paramedics and such are down next to him and a guy's pulling out a stretcher and bringing it over. On the other side of the street is a trash truck and apparently, here's what happened. You know how one guy drives the trash truck, and one guy rides on the side on top of the wheels? Well when the trash truck stopped, the tires under the guy standing on the side blew up. The explosion rocketed the guy across the street onto the lawn, where we saw him laying. The man now has spinal injuries. Pretty serious to. Very freak accident. Just wanted to share.
