Ok NS please help me

So last night I got drunk with some buddies ended up going to a party. Drank a lot more at the party then woke up around 8 for work and almost took a gun to my head. My throat was and still is literally on fire. I just woke up from a nap and I couldn't breathe. My throat feels likes is one nanometer in diameter. This comvined with a hangover is absolute hell. I'm going into work(second job) in a bit and I need some advice on what to take. I seriously need a cough drop or a muscle relaxer the size of car. Any suggestions from NS before I pass out at work.

Caffiene, cold water, and take 3 ibuprofen. Ibuprofen and caffiene calm inflammation and deconstrict blood vessels, cold water reduces swelling and helps your headache.

go to a doctor. Now-ish.

If that isnt an option, take some benadryl and hope for the best.

gargle salt water? that usually helps for a regular sore throat but that might not work for your "situation"

vicks vapor rub? I'm not sure if that works for sore throat but i hear it works miracles

You really should go to a doctor man...I feel like having trouble breathing is a legitimate excuse to be late to work.

I don't recommend coffee, though. Go grab yourself a diet rockstar or redbull or something. Nothing with real sugar that increases the phlegm.

did you boot last night? sometimes trauma (oftentimes from vomitting) or just excessive drinking can inflame your uvula (the thing hanging in the back of your throat) making breathing really difficult. take some ibuprofen, drink water, keep your head level, and just wait it out. it sucks, i know, but not too much you can do. if it persists, definitely see a doctor. worst case scenario is your epiglottis, which is the flap of hard tissue between your larynx and esophagus got swollen, which can lead to serious complications. good luck my dude
