++k If you can explain to me how to do this. Calculus only, it might be doable with some stats stuff, but thats useless.
I might just be dumb, but I can't figure it out, Im doing some weird online class and some of it is different than what I am used to.
anyway:
The government injects $1 billion into the economy. Each recipient spends 90 % of the dollars received. In turn, the secondary recipients spend 90 % of the dollars they receive, etc.
Use the expansion of 1/(1 - x) in powers of x to help come up with a clean measurement of the total spending that results from the $1 billion injection.
