skating?

I mean rollerblades, not skateboards when i say skating. I have always iceskated and skated so i can do it so i thought that maybe it would help my rail skills in the winter if i started doing it in this summer. I have so old shitty rollerblades i use since i have no money for new ones. One thing i notice about them is they have rubber wheels. would this affect grinding the rails i use in the winter at home? it looks like they wouldnt slide too good...

Not too easy to grind if you don't have aggressive skates. But if you must, this is what I'd do- buy four smaller-diameter wheels for the inside wheels on your skates (anti-rockering is the technical term) and file out a little groove in the plastic in between the two middle wheels for grinding. It's much easier to just get aggressive skates, though.
