Help me out: need camera advice

wasnt sure wether to put it in her, or in b/s/t. Anyways, im somewhat into filming i make a couple edits here and there but nothing serious, recently my video camera broke and im forced to get a new one before the next season. so, who knows any video cameras that shoot good quality but wont cost me to much.

i see where your coming from. generally things directly related to skiing are posted in this forum. like an edit or something, i'm sure there is potential for really helpful posts in here, but most kids will say media/arts fool

i learned when asking for camera information that although it takes time for some posts, the media/arts gang is extremely helpful and have a lot of knowledge to spread

hv30 is what tonsss of kids use. my friend has a sony handycam that is super sweet, but like 1500 bucks... but there are lots of different types of handycam.

i have heard lots of good things about the hv 30... but personally i have an hf 200 which is really cheap and realtively good quality. the only downside is that avchd can be kind of hard to work with if you dont know how to use it

hv30/40 is the only way to go for cheap and good ass quality. i would suggest the gs320 because its a fucking sick ass cheap camera when in the right hands but is SD..and with technology nowadays and shit...its just not worth it imo

because comparing a T2i to a Handycam is like apples to oranges, completely different tools.

it really depends on how much ur willing to spend.....u could go with something like an hv30 or any of the canon vixias(what i use) or u could get into dlsr's like the t2i

my friends broke yesterday haha. anyways, I'd say hv20/30. the 20 is cheaper but also older and has worse LCD screen. theres other upgrades to the HV30, I just forget what they are.

no, not really. filming with a dslr requires much more planning and shot setup to get the desired results.

gopro HD. small, compact, tough as a rock. plus its only like 270 for the one with no mounts or 300 for the one with helmet mounts.
