I'm looking for how to downgrade but I can't find any videos that are easy to do. I know this is pointless but I'll give you +K if you help me.

i will tell you from memory
so it might not work
back up your ipod because you will be restoring it
download lower firmware (3.1.3 for example) put it in a folder
plug in ipod
open it in itunes
click on restore WHILE HOLDING SHIFT(windows) or THE APPLE/OPTION KEY(mac)
this will bring up a little menu for you to select what firmware you want to install
go to that file with the firmware in it
select it and restore
it should be running the firmware you want and just put the backup on it
proceed to jailbreak it/ use it
if your gunna jailbreak it i would recommend spiritjb
your ipod should be restored on a lower firmware, this is how i upgraded my iphone from 3 to 3.1.3 instead of 4 so i assume it works the same way
