figured ns would be the best place to start seeing how ns loves there subaru's...
more likely than not im picking up a wrx 03'
my main concern is the clutch, ive had a Pontiac that went 160+on the original clutch, my saab's nocked out at 100, just curious as to how wrx's/subaru's are. dont wana drop g's then have to spend another 1000 in a few months to throw a new clutch in.
I know it has a ton to do with how it's driven, how much the cars been beat up, stomped on, etc...so pretty much just looking for a baseline, any info helps
looking for info from people who actually have one and driven them before...nothing against the 13 ns'ers but i could care less what your dad driving and what you think of it

I'm here to save your ass from lameness.
First of all, a clutch is only going to last as long as you let it last. If you drive it hard, and burn out and shit all the time, or just have bad habits for driving in general, you might get 20-30k out of it before you have to replace it. - that said, i'm going to assume you're not a retard with a manual gearbox.
when it comes to suby clutches, depending on the model, its going to last 60-75k depending on where and how you drive it. If you're driving freeways most of the time, you might even get 80 or 90k out of a clutch.
For our old legacy wagon, I first started driving when it had like 185k on it. me and the family drove it till it had 265k on it. it needed a new clutch. That's about when we ditched it anyway because It had a bad transfer case and needed lots of repairs.
My current Subaru is an 96 impreza. I put about 25k on it before i really needed to change the clutch last year. Replacing it was a bitch, seeing as I had to pull the crankcase to do it, but it worked, and it drives fine now. Parts were like 125 for the clutch + the rear main seal. took about 15 hours of work, but i've driven 20k more in the last year on that car since I replaced it so its golden, and will be good for all the driving around i'm about to do up in oregon.
solid.
