Pipe cleaners are sick and good on rails too.
I was wrong about the El Rays. They are way to flimsee for outside the park. They are like noodles. MY BAD
hummm . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Thread creator, we need you to tell us where you ride and how deep of pow you plan on hittin up!!!
This,
and mine come in the mail Monday!
I don't know if it is just me but when you start off freeskiing you are going to say you want to shred groomers and go all over the mtn. but once you get involved in park you are going to want more park oriented skis(pow is still amazing!)
so if i were you get a park setup and you still can go all around the mtn when you feel like it but it will just take some getting used to
anthems would be a perfect choice....they are light and poppy but also seem to be fun in some soft snow
welcme to NS, eventually you will look back at this thread and laugh about your first noob days as we all do!
Let me explain to you how you can easily fuck up on buying "twin-tips". I started skiing when I was 9, I wanted to get into park and all that shit because I was tired of not going any farther with my abilities. About a year ago(13) I decided to get a pair of "TWIN-TIPS". So I went on down to the local Sports Authority (Fuck this place to death) and got the "coolest" pair of twin-tips in my length. Later in the season (1 month), after hitting features all day, every day I went skiing, I noticed that my sidewalls were ripped out, the bases were scraped out, and the topsheet was shot. Soon did I come to realize that I had bought a $300 ski that was meant for all mountain. Which means that you can occationally do park, do about 1/2 ft. of powder max, and groomers for life. So long story short, there is a difference in a Park Skis, and "twin-tips". Oh and don't go to sports authority for skis.
