I will either get the s4 in 181 or p3 in 184. Currently riding on k2 fugitives which i like but there beat up and like a noodle now. I am 6'3 180lbs and was wondering which one would be better. I ride about 80 20 park to groomers. In midwest so no pow. Heard good things about both skis and tried to search bar but didn't really find anything to helpful. They are both 09s and can get either for cheap. Any info will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't skied the p3's, but really really enjoy the s4's. Ski has a killer amount of pop, and is medium-soft so it's definitely going to give you more support than your fujatives. You really can't go wrong either way, I hear nothing but good things about both skis, but as I haven't skied both, I can't give you a fair comparison.

p3's are very stiff, you can butter them, but you have to throw your weight into them pretty hard to do it, although at 180lbs that shouldnt be too much of a problem. i am 6'0 180 and i had the 178's and i really enjoyed them, i just felt like i wanted to try something softer. they are very poppy and fun skis, they are just really stiff, if youre looking for something softer maybe try punishers or punisher jibs.

yeah, i know that the p3s are a really stiff ski. my friend has the s4s and he lovess them. i would say s4 because rossi has a great warranty system, and they are just a good ski

S4, more durable and honestly more fun. I've seen in person 2 pairs of P3s completely destroyed after a week or two, while Rossi really makes a bomber ski in the S4 and has an excellent warrantee.

personaly id go with the s4, they are a great ski, ive bought both pairs and plan on buying the new ones. they are super poppy, bombproof, and good (as far as park skis go) on groomers. you will be happy with them

S4s are on the stiffer side of the scale for sure, I'm not going to say they're the stiffest park ski, but they're up there.

the s4 in my bias oppinion is one of the best all around park skis on the market, Mount them with a pair of any rossi bindings and you get an almost no question asked 2 year warntee, really cant beat that. the 09 is the same thing as the 10 just with different graffic, if you can get the 09 still for a good deal its deffanatly worth it.
