ever get the feeling that amped 2 is more than a game,   like as if it totally summed up the soul of snowboarding, all in one game?    Maybe its cause of the soundtrack. That game was ill though.

I loved that game. I use to get so fucking mad on the follow the pro stuff. There was one where he would call you donkey lips and I just wanted to stab him. Good game.

why mount hood? bear mountain has the sickest 3 jump line in the game! its like the only logicaly built park in the game

FUCKING YES

I still play Amped 2 more than any other game on Xbox. And i totally agree it sums up snowboarding's soul.

And the soundtrack is amazing. I set the soundtrack just to emo, and it is the best of any game I've ever played. Now that I've locked down triples too, I'll only end up playing it more.

Bear mountain was sick but the best slopestyle course was the one that you could download on xbox live. That slopestyle course had perfect trannys that you would land on every time and on the last jump there was a huge gap to rail that you could practice candide-like cork 810s onto the rail.

I hated the last rightmost kicker in Superpark. How in the world can you even reach the landing? My favourite will probably always be the first Millicent level rightside park. Just small jibs, small jumps and a halfassed pipe, perfect for small tech trickery

bears left jump line was way dope, but the top of NZ was one of my favorite spots was the top of NZ cause you could do triple corks.  also the best thing about that game was BUTTER SPINS. too bad they dont count them as such.

yeah i downloaded that too its so sick. they actually thought about the landings and didnt just put them anywhere like all the other maps except the 3 jump line on bear mountain

Do you mean the first three jumps starting from the peak of Bear on the right side of the boarder? With the possibility of ski lift grind etc.?

The second jump in that line is where I stuck my first triple flat. I was lining up for back to back triples, but crashed into the lift pylon on the second rotation.

I was in like 6th grade back when this game came out and the controllers were super big for xbox. I got tendonitis because I couldn't stop playing it. This is one of the best fucking games ever and I was so stoked to see a thread about it. Definitely a huge disappointment when amped 3 came out tho..

how do you do the update to play on your 360? when i put my game in it says i need to go to xbox.com. i went on there and it says it should update automatically if i am hooked up to the internet.
maybe because i have the top spin/amped 2 combo?

amped 2 is easily one of my top three favorite xbox games of all time, I remember staying up until like 4 in the morning in middle school with my best friend beating levels and challenges and shit... God damn that was fun

theyre my brothers

i have amped 3 (very unrealistic but still fun but no where near as good as amped 2)
shaun white (fucking stupid, some people like tho)
and
stoked (pow shreddin basically, only played one level and not really any challenges so i dont really know)

I loved laax and new zealand once my stats were maxed out, there were so many unrealistically huge jumps in those two to just get massive combos off of. also, I hated trying to complete the legend challenges, where you find the snowmen in each level? thats the only thing I never beat in the game
