Beyond that, a photographer should know what their work is worth. A photo on a blog posting on some part of a company's website isn't inherently worth very much. A photo used for a spread in a magazine is worth a lot. A photog working for the right client and the right magazine could make 3000 with one ad if they knew what they were doing.

Actually any commercial use, I.E. blog posts on a companies site are worth a lot more than a full page shot in a magazine... A published shot a day is the absolute minimum if you want to just break even..... then again what do I know.
