Just had a convo about what would be the first thing you would- lets say 150 million after taxes

After I got all the legal shit and payed off everything I own- the first thing I would do is a charter a 150 ft yacht in the mediterranean for a month. Charter a plane and invite all of my friends and pay for their airfare- and just fucking cruise and ball out for a month straight. I wouldn't bring any clothes- buy them when you get there, just go all out. Afterwords I would get into buying new houses and cars - but without a doubt- I would just go crazy for the first month-


So NS- what would be the first thing you would do?

i would buy a house right at the base of mammoth or keystone or northstar at tahoe, some sick mountain out west, the house would be either like right at the base or straight up ON the fucking mountain. i would invite a bunch of my good friends and just put all the money in an account, or invest it or some shit, and then live there until i died. not really lavishly or anything, just living and partying and shredding, i wouldnt work a day if i didnt have to. when i died whatever remained would get donated to charity.

I would buy a nice size house, like your average family suburban 2 or 3 story, nothing crazy fancy, but pretty nice. Maybe buy 1 in the west and the east. Buy a new car, not the most ridiculous thing but something pretty fancy and nice and reliable.


I'd invest a shit ton of money. Then travel the world for a long time. Traveling the world would be the only crazy splurge because that shit gets expensive.

keep it a secret. Don't wanna any long lost "relatives" popping up all of the sudden.

And that way i can pull hilarious pranks without people realizing. Like paying for meals with friends using gold bricks. And showing up to work in a different shitty 1k dollar car every day for a month. I'd slap someone with a wad of money. I wouldn't quit my job, because then i wouldn't be able to make money by seeing the red sox play. I'd learn to play the violin. I'd hire a helicopter to bring me to the tops of mountains, so i can pretend i hiked up there. I'd sell mystery bags on ebay with $10 bills in them to see if i could make a profit.

Pay for the rest of my parents new cabin they're building, then give them enough to live the rest of their lives comfortably on. Then buy a few condos, whis, jackson, etc, for the winter shenanigans. Then bribe my way into MIT. Gotta have a job, because even with that kind of money, being unemployed would probably get boring eventually. Get '03 nissan skyline r34 and a tricked out toyota tundra for transportation. put the rest in savings.

I would buy a nice house with a massive garage, buy cars, both practical and exotic, to fill the garage, hire an expensive personal finance dude, and invest the rest.  I'd also probably buy a big rock for my girlfriend somewhere along the line.

Also, I'd like to believe that I would continue to work even if I won the lottery, to give some sort of meaning to my life.  Sure, I could just party and buy shit, but eventually the money would run out or I would become bored and have nothing really left to live for.  Probably a big reason why many people who win huge amounts of money become depressed and kill themselves.

Right off the bat: renting a cruise ship for a month and going on a motherfucking vacation with all my friends and family. they can come and go as they need or want to.

Then its down to business and time to map out where the rest of the money is going. being that im a real estate guy I would def park a big chunk of my money in there. I would love to develop a hotel or two. start small and parlay it into bigger assets like hotels in NYC or south beach. this would be the biggest chunk of money gone and would take years to accomplish.

I would have to retire my parents and the rest of my family and thats going to be another big chunk because my immediate family is pretty big. I will def be donating some money to various cancer foundations.

and somewhere in between i would buy myself some cars/boats/ski and beach houses.

To the guys saying still have a job so would I- start my own business or start a fund for development of new technologies etc. Hire a bunch of super smart engineers, scientists, and all that shit, and just develop new technologies for the sake of progress.

Buy two nice pieces of land on the east and west and build two nice new houses.

Travel with some buddies for a few months.

Invest.

Probably start a business.

but most of all just live the dream, and give to a good cause.


Also buy some sweet rides (can't leave that out)

and if it was a HUGE powerball...i'd probably have to build a fantasy factory.

Oh yeah, I forgot another huge one.  I would donate a ton to stem cell research.  Fuck everyone who says "oh that's so unethical, you're killing babies" No, fuck you, I'm not killing babies, and I would gladly kill a toddler with my bare hands if it meant a cure for diabetes, cancer, AIDS, etc.

1.buy a nice condo (i dont need something big) then just absolutly re do it and put in sick as tvs and like 3 computers and shit
2. buy a house at loon mtn then probably somewhere outwest for the pow, probably park city (im only gettin a house in this situation cuz ill probs have a lot of people up there so i need more room
3. condo at hood or whistler for the summer/ probably do day camp for either windells momentum or what evr cuz there parks are usually bigger and a little better later in the summer
4. like a bunch of nice cars like a nice bmw both suv and sedan and probably a lambo (pimped out and all)
5. a small place in the florida keys and a nice yacht for summer and fall hangin
6. the nicest nikon and the nicest videocamera with all the attachments and lenses
7. final cut studio
8. get a bunch of skiing equipment like nice pow skiis and back up pairs incase they break
9. a ton of new outerwear so i can mix and match ;)
10. save atleast 75 million for family and friends and for when im after like 35
11. the rest would go to traveling and doing what evr i want when i want to do it

this was typed terribly because i didn't want to take 3 hours to type this

Buy a real nice truck and a house near a big mountain
Get every pair of skis i could ever need
tons of different outerwear
A sick ski trip, probably an entire winter just going to different mountains, resorts, heli and cat ski operations

invest the rest, so it keeps on payin out.

1. Pay off any debt my parents still have and make sure they don't have to work another day in their lives.

2. Put aside a wad of dough for my kids' college.

3. Put 10 million in the bank to live off of for the rest of my life.

4. Build an awesome ski-in/ski-out log cabin somewhere. Maybe Vail. College is unnecessary so I just ski a ton and live in the cabin.

5. Get a Subaru WRX STI and get the engine beefed up even more and get the sickest sound system ever in it.

6. Marry the hottest girl ever. (Did I mention she does blunt cork 9's?)

7. Travel to and ski at every ski resort on Earth.

8. Write a book about it.

9. Sell that book.

10. Make more money from that.

11. Donate a fuckload to charity.

12. Get an Slurpee machine in the cabin mentioned in #4.

13. Sex up my hot skier wife every night after shredding some pow.

14. On my deathbed, I realize that I still have the 10 million dollars in my bank account from when I thought I would need it to live off of. So I donate it to A-Basin.

As far as appearance goes I'm probably a 7 on the 1-10 scale; pretty average.

But I do mega-styley tricks in the park and charge pow like a mo-fo (both of which make the ladies moist). So that takes me from a 7 to an 8.5

Only 0.2 away from being a 10.

Thing is, I won Powerball so I am now worth 125 million dollars.

That boosts me from a 9.8 to a 23.

I say (while wearing jeans that are worth more than your house), "I'M SO FUCKING RICH THAT I PAID TO CHANGE THE SCALE FOR MYSELF."

So when that dream woman (Who will exist) lays her eyes upon me she will think, "Shitgoddamn that guy is a straight 23 on the 1 to 10 scale. I want him."

We proceed to have sex right then and there.


That's how winning the powerball makes me able to get any girl I want.

I think I would try my best not to change how I live my everyday life...I would probably buy a new car (nothing too fancy, probably a subie wagon or something that I fit nicely in to sleep in when I go skiing, and a ski box to store gear in of course), maybe a new mountain bike, but other than that nothing outlandish

Immediately I would throw a fat party, and pay off a years rent on a really nice apartment in town upfront, and pay off the rest of my car. Then I would sit on it for a while and think about shit. I would probably invest a lot of it in to real estate. Over the next year I would pimp my current car, buy a sick old muscle car, and buy a really nice house. Then I would start looking in to the real estate market and investing wisely in the stock market.

Build a private ski resort in Utah - one chair lift. Tickets available by owner's permission only- this means, appropriate attire and/or equipment, knowledge, and ability. If you're Eric Pollard, you're set. If you're Shawn White, you aren't allowed. If you have skins and plan to skin up, you're a badass and get to ride for free. If you have an NS or TGR sticker anywhere on your gear, car, or person, you're all set.

Basically, epic skiing with no gapers.
