Very nice. I'd open it in photoshop or lightroom and fix the chromatic abberation if I were you, though. It's really visible in the lightning on the left.
I tend to think that lightning photos look sort of weird if you can't see the cloud the lightning is springing from, meaning that if it just flies onto the frame I don't like it as much as if it sort of stemms from a cloud. It's a question of luck when you're composing your shot. That said, I think this isn't bad at all.
I'd definitely say use manual focus though- when you click, everything looks a little fuzzy. Could just be compression or a soft lens though.
A few things that will help you in the future, definitely get a shutter release cord. They're somewhat expensive, but here is the main advantage that I've had using one. I set the exposure for thirty seconds, that way I don't have to boost the ISO out of "printable" parameters. Set up shop around lightning, remember be careful! Set the exposure using whatever aperture the lighting will allow, set the camera to burst mode (if you have that option), lock the shutter release and go seek shelter. Obviously if its raining, don't gamble with exposing your camera to the elements.
