Does anyone realize that he only has two mixtapes. Both of which were made well before he signed his record deal or made his debut on MTV and whatever mass media market you kids listen to.

He released his 2nd mixtape and 2 weeks later played at one of the shittiest frats at my school. He's making the exact type of music he likes.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The "new Mike" is literally the same. People saying his old shit is better are the perfect example of hating on someone just because they got a little bit of exposure. Cooler than me, which is what got people talking about him, was recorded a while ago.

I guess I'm not really sure what you were saying haha.  I thought you were saying that his music is shitty, but he makes music that he likes, so therefore the music he likes is also shitty and only good for shitty frats? I don't know. All I was trying to say that if he likes his music it shouldn't matter if some people think it's shitty.

cooler than me was recorded a while ago, but the version that's out now is the one that got people talking. and i'm not hating because he got exposure i think that rules and i'm stoked for him..but his music has gone downhill...he's getting too poppy but i mean whatever sells.

i'm hoping his CD will have some solid raps on it.

You're right, the version out now is different, but the song in general is the same, just a little different beat. I hardly think that justifies saying that his "old shit" is better. Also, that song has been fucked with a million times and there are a few different versions of it. Saying his music has gone hill because the version that got him noticed isn't your favorite is stupid.
