It's triple A, in North Carolina. Pretty much any house league team around here could destroy you guys. York Simcoe Expresss whhahahahha?

Wow. I dont really think you know how AAA works. You pretty much NEVER play in state. Oh and a ton of the USA hockey stuff was at my rink. Ever heard of jr. hurricanes?

Considering Ontario is like 4x the size of North Carolina, we generally play in Province. We sometimes to go Lake Placid to rape teams from New York.

I can guarantee you the level of play you experience is far below anything you'd experience here playing York Simcoe or even the Wolves. I can off the top of my head think of 6 kids in my school of 650 people that are currently in the OHL..while still attending school.

I actually know a kid that just got drafted into the OHL. His names Brian Moore. And I know 3 kids going to NSA next year(one is on a 25k scholarship). And I'm not going to say we could beat you because I dont know that but We've played in tournaments up in Ontario. Most of the kids I know are from up north though so its kinda the same as living up there. Charlotte has the biggest trade floor in the country so a ton of people got transfered here from the north.

We dont always win but we usually finish pretty decently. Theres definately better teams. Oh and theres a few stanley cup winners that live near me.

1. Mad love for repp'n NC but that run is not even close to a 'real' double black diamond. Its steep enough to maybe be a black out west.

2. NC does get ridiculously icy like a lot of lucky bastards have never seen. I've never really come across a double black I couldn't ski (Snowbird, Apline M, Summit County,etc) but there has been times that the ice in NC was so bad I literally couldn't make a turn. At least not with seasoned park skis.

It gets icy out west too, but the only place I've ever skied that as bad as we get it was on the world cup run at aspen.
