Um, I believe that is a firmware, and you said you're already running 4.0 so you wouldn't have to go download that one.

That's only to upgrade without paying for it

I don't want to seem like a jerk but I'm going to so forget that. It honestly is not hard to jailbreak an iphon even if you're using 4.0 OSI. All you need to do is downgrade and press a "jailbreak me" button for most of the sites people use. Back when I had an iPhone I used ZiPhone, but I don't know if that site is still in existance so you might try Blackra1n or something?
