Stuff about new seasons and movie

We first brought you the story last September straight from McFarlane himself about FAMILY GUY's return. At that time the plan was to make a straight-to-DVD movie, and one of the story points would be that of baby Stewie coming out of the closet. With Fox or another network preparing to pick up a second incarnation of the series, it doesn't look like there would be room for a FAMILY GUY film.


'To do an original movie directly for DVD and the series at the same time would be a little difficult,' McFarlane explains. 'But there's been some discussion of doing a series of episodes that would all link together to form a movie.'

It's called "Stewie: The Untold Story, and it'll be out on DVD on September 27th. The Hollywood Reporter states, "The movie finds Stewie, the maniacal baby genius, having a near-death experience that prompts him to change his ways. Instead of seeking to dominate the world, he sets out on a road trip to find his real father." Giddy up.
