BIG BIG BIG News day...

Today the Ski Channel announced they have signed a long-term agreement with Comcast cable which grows the network to a nice 43 MILLION viewers

This has been a goal for the company for years, even prior to the launch of the network and will give many of you in major ski markets access to the channel finally! For free... its not a premium channel

AND IN BIGGER NEWS... The EPIC trailer for "The Story" was also released today which features: Bobby Brown, Simon Dumont, Matt Walker, and a host of other Salomon Jib Academy Finals riders; Nimbus guys like Benchets and Pollard... Bode is in it... the movie has star-power and some of the best cameras such as the REDLAKE 1000 FPS cams that you will die when you see the dub cork clips of

It means that Comcast will soon be airing The Ski Channel programming on their On-Demand network, which is free of charge with your cable package from them...

not sure how comcast subscriptions work yet - but if you have any sort of on-demand programming with that package you should be able to get ski channel programing - i will post exactly how to access it once the details materialize a bit more

comcast was one of the LAST major cable companies who hasn't already signed a deal with the ski channel...

you can already get the channel on dish network, direct tv, cox, time warner, verizon fios, and many others

its likely your cable provider has the channel available to you

"The Story" is also set to premiere at stops on the upcoming film tour before it even airs on the channel, so it's likely a stop will be located near you

the film tour will be the first chance to check out the movie, followed by a release on the television network

DVD sales will be available at some point, but isn't really necessary considering the movie will air free on the channel

channel 1023 then scroll to the right. its mixed in with the golf channel and fuel tv on demand. thats in NY not sure if its different in other areas.

Yes The Ski Channel is available on FIOS

a fellow NS user posted that it's available in your program guide by going to on demand > browse all > free > sports> The Ski Channel

That's awesome to hear man!

Glad your enjoying the programming, and be sure to keep checking back to the channel as content will rotate about once every 2 weeks. I'd also love to here some feedback on some of the stuff that doesn't interest you guys as much, because given that it's a smaller company I can really work towards being an advocate for the NS community and our likes/dislikes.
